I have recently completed my PhD, entitled 'Reconstructing Population Histories in Relation to Ecology', under the supervision of Prof. Bill Amos at the University of Cambridge. During this time my research focused on demographic reconstructions of populations through the last glacial cycle, primarily using population genetics tools and approaches such as Bayesian Skyline Plots and Species Distribution Models.
I am now a Research Associate with the Evolutionary Ecology Group, also at the University of Cambridge (PI Prof. Andrea Manica). I use a climate-informed spatial model framework, incorporating genetic data with climatic and environmental variables, to investigate patterns of demographic change during key phases of population expansions.
